Funded by Glasgow City Council’s Lane Activation Fund, this was a two-day event on Mitchell Lane, developed by WAVEparticle with the aim of increasing footfall in the Lane and to encourage collaboration between tenants and businesses on the Lane.

The event coincided with Glasgow Doors Open and accompanied an exhibition in The Lighthouse that presented The Happenstance, Scotland’s contribution to the 16th Venice Biennale of Architecture, curated by WAVEparticle.

WAVEparticle commissioned Glasgow-based artists Pester & Rossi, Brian Hartley and Hannah Braxton, who participated in The Happenstance,  who used play as a tool to encourage conversations with businesses, visitors and passers-by about what can be built through mapping connections, and connecting needs and resources.
